25-year-old Kaitlyn Love was charged with aggravated assault after her boyfriend claimed she hit him in the head with a frying pan multiple times during a dispute about her drinking.
On October 7th, Metro Nashville Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance on 2712 Mailan Drive. When they arrived, Adam Ursprung was standing outside of the residence with a noticeable bump on his head. Adam stated that he had gotten into an argument with Kaitlyn Love, his girlfriend, over her alcohol use.
He then sat at the kitchen table where he claimed she said, “You crazy man” after hitting him in the head multiple times with a frying pan. Kaitlyn stated the argument started because her boyfriend said she needed to move out of the house. She then continued to tell officers that he took the frying pan, rubbed it in her hands, and hit himself several times with it. Kaitlyn was taken into custody by police due to Adam’s evident injuries and statements.
Kaitlyn Love was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released on a $10,000 bond.
