64-year-old Monty Pennington was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor after he admitted to sending explicit photos and videos of minors on Skype and Facebook.
On March 13th, Metro Nashville Police officers received two cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tips reported a video that was uploaded to Facebook on January 23rd, 2020, and an image that was uploaded to Skype on February 18th, 2020. The Facebook video revealed a female performing fellatio on a juvenile boy. The Skype image revealed two juvenile females that appeared to be around 6 years old, nude on a couch. Both females had their legs spread toward the camera in the image.
The IP address from which the video and image were uploaded was traced back to 209 Peeler Trail, in Madison, Tennessee. When MNPD arrived at the residence on November 3rd, they made contact with Monty Pennington and showed him the images. He admitted to uploading the video and image during a conversation with unknown people. He also told officers he was sexual attracted to minors. Monty also claimed he had around 30 images and videos of minors on his cell phone.
On November 4th, a search warrant was obtained for the phone. On the Kik application, a conversation with another user revealed Monty sent two more images of minors. One of the images showed a female around 10-years-old wearing a shirt and underwear revealing her genitalia. The other showed a female around the same age, completely nude.
On November 19th, Monty Pennington was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. He was later released on a $60,000 bond.
