Man caught on camera taking snacks, hoodie, and hat according to CSU

35-year-old Joshua Erickson was charged with burglary when he was found behind a Jack in the Box after security footage showed him taking snacks, drinks, a hat, and a hoodie from IO Studio.

On November 17th, Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) detectives found Joshua Erickson behind a Jack in the Box located at 622 McGavock Pike. Erickson was identified as the subject in the commercial burglary of IO Studio. The business is located at 565 Marriot Drive and Erickson was allegedly captured on security footage from Suite 820. The property manager, Cary Bolton was also able to snap a picture of Erickson during the incident.

When Detectives at the Hermitage precinct conducted a recorded interview with Erickson he admitted to the crime post-Miranda. Erickson stated he knowingly entered the location without permission and consumed snacks and beverages inside. He also admitted he took a Timber Co. hat and IO Studio hoodie without paying or having permission to take the items.

Joshua Erickson was arrested and charged with burglary. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
