23-year-old Durvis Mays was charged with statutory rape after authorities say he admitted to having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old who subsequently became pregnant.
On November 5th, Durvis Mays was interviewed by Metro Nashville Officer Hunter Fikes in regard to a statutory rape. According to the affidavit, between November 2019 and May 2020, Mays had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old.
The victim stated she has only had sexual intercourse with Mays. She also stated in October of 2020 she had a baby and believes Mays is the father of her child. Durvis Mays also admitted to having sexual intercourse with the victim.
Durvis Mays was arrested and charged with statutory rape. He was later released on a $20,000 bond.
