Man claimed to have tried to kick his ex’s door in after yelling at her through windows

38-year-old William Fletcher was charged with an order of protection violation and vandalism after he showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s house to yell at her through her windows about her infidelity.

On July 29th, Metro Nashville Police Department officers were dispatched to the home of Rachel Woods after receiving a call that her ex-boyfriend was violating his order of protection.

Woods stated William Fletcher showed up and yelled at her through the window and accused her of seeing other people. She also said Fletcher began to kick and damage her door frame. Officers noted the damaged and confirmed with Davidson County Sheriff’s Office that there was an active order of protection against Fletcher, instated on December 24th, 2019.

On November 5th, William Fletcher was arrested and charged with an order of protection violation and vandalism. He was later freed with all charges dismissed.
