35-year-old Marquise Williams was charged with domestic assault after he started an argument with his girlfriend about cleaning the house and punched her in the face.
On September 29th, Metro Nashville Police officers responded to a domestic dispute at 3614 Old Hickory Boulevard. Kierstin Wilkins stated her boyfriend Marquise Williams started an argument about cleaning their house.
She told the police she threw a shoe at Williams, but she missed him. According to the affidavit, Williams retaliated and punched her in the face. Officers observed visible injury to the inside of her upper lip. Williams was no longer at the residence when police arrived and did not answer any phone calls.
On November 2nd, Marquise Williams was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $2,000 bond.
