21-year-old Marcus Rhodes was charged with reckless endangerment and domestic assault when he threw a juice at his ex-girlfriend’s car and it hit their one-year-old child in the head.

On September 27th, Davidson County officers responded to the intersection of North DuPont Avenue and Archwood Drive for a domestic call. When officers arrived, they spoke to Kimmeshia Bradford who told them Marcus Rhodes had struck their child in the forehead with a bottle of juice. Bradford informed the officers that she was in the parking area of Nashwood Park Apartments picking up her 1-year-old from ex-boyfriend Rhodes before the incident occurred.

Bradford advised that Rhodes has custody of their daughter on the weekends. While Bradford was putting the child in the car, Rhodes began pushing and trying to close the door on her. She pushed past him, got in her car, and drove off but not before Rhodes threw a bottle of juice at the car. The bottle entered the vehicle through an open window and hit their child on the head. The 1-year-old was examined by Nashville Fire Medics and sustained bruising on the right side of the forehead. Bradford did not sustain injury.

On November 5th, Marcus Rhodes was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and domestic assault. He was released on a $23,000 bond.
