Repeat offender caught stealing $90 in change and a laptop

22-year-old Terrance Hereford was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle after a man reported that $90 in change and a Microsoft laptop were stolen from his car while he was on vacation. Police identified him from fingerprints left on a mason jar.

On September 8th, Thomas Gibbs reported his vehicle parked in front of his residence at 1633 54th Avenue North had been burglarized while he was on vacation from September 4th to the 6th.

He advised Metro Nashville Police officers that a Microsoft laptop and $90 in change had been stolen from a mason jar inside of his car. Officers were able to lift prints from the mason jar that was left behind. On October 13th, it was determined the prints belonged to Terrance Hereford. He was recently charged on October 6th for a different burglary that occurred on September 3rd.

On October 28th, Terrance Hereford was arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $3,000 bond.
