Woman crashes car on Hwy 70; police find marijuana and alprazolam

27-year-old Raven Lockridge was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a revoked license, possession of marijuana, and possession of alprazolam after she told paramedics she used marijuana before she wrecked her car.

On November 1st, Raven Lockridge was involved in a car accident on Hwy 70 near Old Hickory Boulevard. When Metro Nashville Police Officer Benjamin Cantrell arrived on the scene, he noticed her speech was slurred, clumsy, and she had difficulty completing her thoughts.

Officer Cantrell heard her tell the paramedic she heard the used marijuana before the crash. Officer Cantrell found a baggie with five blue/green pills believed to be Alprazolam and a small container of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. A search in the system revealed Lockridge’s license was suspended. She was transported to Metro General Hospital.

Raven Lockridge was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, possession of a controlled marijuana, and possession of alprazolam. She was later freed on pretrial release.
