18-year-old Kayla Brown was charged with assault and vandalism after slashing her friend’s tires and then admitting to it when she physically assaulted her a week later.
On June 25th, according to an affidavit, Kayla Brown punctured the tires on Krisse Keith’s 2008 Acura. The estimated cost of the damage was between $70-$150.
On July 1st, in the parking lot of Rothwood Apartments located at 600 Rothwood Avenue, Brown and Kayla Dotson physically assaulted Keith. During an argument, Brown jumped on top of Keith, shoved her to the ground, and proceeded to pummel her face. Krisse Keith sustained a concussion and multiple injuries to her eyes, she was transported to Skyline Medical Center.
During the July assault, Kayla Brown also admitted to the tire damage in June stating, “He did not slash your tires! I did it!”
On November 8th, Kayla Brown was arrested and charged with assault and vandalism $1,000 or less. She was released on a $3,000 bond.
