19-year-old Asia Cosby was charged with vandalism and domestic assault after she shoved her girlfriend and slashed a hole in all four tires of her vehicle during an argument.
On November 7th, Metro Nashville Police Department responded to a domestic-related issue at 333 Rio Vista Drive, at Apartment 1 in building V. Officers made contact with Kiara Farmer, who told the police that she and Asia Cosby got into an argument in the apartment.
Farmer claimed the argument became physical when Cosby shoved her. She stated Cosby grabbed a knife, went outside, and slashed all four tires on her vehicle. She then came back into the apartment, where the fighting continued. Medics treated a cut on Farmer’s hand at the scene, but she refused further medical assistance. She also informed police she did not remember if it was caused by the knife used, or if her girlfriend wielded the knife during the assault. According to the affidavit, a witness corroborated Farmer’s story, and Cosby was identified as the primary aggressor.
Asia Cosby was arrested and charged with vandalism and domestic assault with bodily injury. She was later released on a $2,500 bond.
