30-year-old Kenneth Hogan was charged with domestic assault when he reportedly threw his ex-girlfriend on the bed and strangled her to prevent her from leaving his apartment.
On September 10th, Metro Nashville Police officers were dispatched to 400 Myatt Drive and made contact with Kayla Lord upon arrival. She told officers she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Kenneth Hogan, the night before.
She stated when she attempted to leave Hogan’s apartment he stopped her, threw her on the bed, and got on top of her. According to Lord, once he was on top he began to strangle her. She told officers consciousness was never lost, but she did have trouble breathing.
On December 4th, Kenneth Hogan was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $2,500 bond.
