21-year-old Kayla Pendergast was charged with theft after the manager of Guitar Center reported to police that she was seen on their security footage stealing a Les Paul guitar.
On December 9th, Vanderbilt Police Department officers responded to a theft at Guitar Center at One Hundred Oaks. Contact was made with Operations Manager Britt Childress, who told officers that one of two individuals that were seen on their security footage from the prior day was currently back at the location.
According to the report, Childress identified Kayla Pendergast as one of the individuals in question that were seen grabbing and stealing a Les Paul guitar and exiting through the front door.
Kayla Pendergast was arrested and charged with theft of property. She was later freed on pre-trial release.
