Woman’s nose gets broken, car gets stolen by boyfriend at Motel 6

20-year-old Nathan Butler was charged with theft of vehicle, vandalism, and aggravated assault after reportedly getting into a fight with his girlfriend at Motel 6.

On November 3rd, Metro Nashville Police officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute located at Motel 6 at 323 Cartwright Street. When officers arrived, contact was made with Maggie Long at Room 247. The officers saw that she had bodily injuries and called for medical at the location. She made a statement to officers saying that she and boyfriend Nathan Butler had gotten into an argument earlier while in the parking lot.

She said he struck her twice in the back of the head and took her car keys from her pocket. Maggie then went back to the hotel room and noticed that it had been vandalized. Shortly after, Nathan came back to the room and struck her in the face. He then proceeded to break her iPhone 11 and take off with her Nissan Sentra.

On December 9th, Nathan Butler was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, vandalism, and theft of a vehicle. He was later released on a $12,500 bond.
