On December 17th, 2020, Metro Nashville Police officers were dispatched to a Waffle House located at 6930 Charlotte Pike. Manager Kevin Novak stated to police that ex-employee Stephanie Kiefer came to the location and stole $400 from the cash register.

According to an arrest warrant, Stephanie Kiefer called and told a current employee, Leman Bass, she was coming by to see him. Once she arrived, she went to use the restroom and upon exiting, went straight to the register and proceeded to remove the money. The employee there thought she was joking and tried to stop her from leaving the scene to which she said ” I don’t want to do this but I have a gun”. The employee did not see a gun but backed off out of fear.

On February 11th, 2021, Stephanie Kiefer was booked into the Metro Nashville jail on the outstanding warrant for felony robbery. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
