Christopher Hill and Marissa Sardar, both 34-years-old, were charged with DUI (and DUI: vehicle owner) after he turned his DJ friend’s Audi the wrong way onto a one-way street. Police say he was ‘very disrespectful’ to law enforcement, making threats to punch officers in the face if he saw them downtown in the future, and taking his frustration out on the patrol vehicle once inside it.

On February 10th, Metro Nashville Police Officer Womack was sitting at a red light at 2nd Avenue South and Demonbreun Street. Christopher Hill was driving East on Demonbreun Street and tried to make a right turn on 2nd Avenue South which is a one-way street. He realized his mistake and proceeded to go east on Demonbreun. The officer followed behind and noticed that the tags on the Audi were expired.

When the officer pulled the vehicle over, he noticed that Christopher Hill smelled of an alcoholic beverage and that his eyes were watery. Officer Womack also had noticed that there were two green liquor drinks on the back floorboard. Mr. Hill exited the vehicle and swayed as he got out and the officer proceeded to conduct field sobriety tests. He struggled to follow directions and became disrespectful towards the officer after the arrest was made. After further investigation, Marissa Sardar was also arrested and charged with DUI (vehicle owner) after she allowed the intoxicated driver, Mr. Hill, to knowingly drive her vehicle.
