32-year-old Sara Weaver is charged with aggravated burglary after she was captured on video entering a guest’s hotel room at a Nashville Red Roof Inn where she worked as a front desk clerk. She is accused of taking a bottle of prescribed Xanax pills and using her hotel master key to commit the crime.
A guest staying at the Red Roof Inn on Claridge Drive near the Nashville Airport reported to police that she had left her hotel room for approximately one hour on the morning of April 19th, and when she returned, she realized her prescription bottle of Xanax was missing from her room.
Hotel management reviewed the video footage and confirmed that front desk clerk Sara Weaver entered the room using a master key shortly after the guest left the property and stayed inside the room for two minutes before exiting the room. Sara Weaver is charged with felony aggravated burglary and is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Red Roof Inn did not immediately respond to an inquiry about the incident.
