44-year-old Angela Briley was booked on an outstanding warrant Friday, which detailed she was arguing with a female friend who got out of the vehicle they were in, then put the car in reverse and backed over before fleeing the scene. The victim suffered a broken leg and required plates and screws during surgery to repair the damage.

Goodlettsville police serve an outstanding felony warrant on Angela D. Briley Friday, for a January incident in which she backed over Tonie Duke. Court records detail that on January 29th at 10 p.m., Briley was driving with Duke as a passenger when they arrived at 606 North Main Street in Goodlettsville, where Duke was exiting the car when the pair got into an argument. As Duke tried to remove her thing from the vehicle, Briley repeatedly locked the door and put the vehicle in forward and reverse multiple times to make retrieving the items more difficult. Donald Stockton was able to witness the incident and confirmed the details to the police.

As Duke was walking around to the other side of the car, Briley popped the car in reverse and backed over Duke, breaking her leg in the process. Briley fled the scene without any attempt to get her medical treatment, and NFD transported her to Skyline, where surgeons used plates and screws to repair the broken leg. Angela Briley is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with serious and intentional bodily injury, and remains jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
