60-year-old Delisia Gomez, visiting from Phoenix, AZ, is charged with domestic assault after she and the victim returned to a Gulch residence after a night on Broadway in #DowntownNashville, and the two got into an argument. He admits to calling her a b**ch, and she assaulted him in response.
Metro Nashville Police responded to the Crossroads at the Gulch Apartments before daylight Friday morning, in response to a call for service from the 8th floor. Officers interviewed the victim, who admitted to calling Delisia Gomez, 60, a “bitch” after they returned from a night on Broadway in downtown Nashville. In response, she began to strike him multiple times, all over his body, leaving him with multiple scratches and bruises.
Without any prior indications, she then grabbed a knife, screamed she was going to kill herself, and proceeded to cut her own wrist. She was transported to the hospital, then to booking. Delisia Gomez is charged with domestic assault and is free on a $1,500 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court in mid-June.
