Police say Caleb Roberts, of Greenbrier, was “irate” when his wife showed up at Tailgate Brewery Music Row because she believed him to be too intoxicated to drive. Appalled she would show up and tell him what to do, video shows him spitting at his wife, cracking her windshield with a beer bottle, then grabbing onto her in an effort to take her phone.
30-year-old Caleb Roberts was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 28th on an outstanding warrant charging him with domestic assault. On April 18th, Roberts was at Tailgate Brewery Music Row when his wife appeared to drive him home, as she was fearful about his level of intoxication. Officers described him as “irate” about his wife’s arrival and upset that she was there “telling him what to do”. Videos taken by the wife, and security footage from the venue captured the encounter.
He spit at his wife, moved toward her aggressively, and cracked her windshield with a beer bottle. He then tried to take the phone from her, grabbing onto her, and pulling her in an effort to gain control.

Court documents indicate he was “irate” that she appeared at the location and extremely upset she was attempting to tell him what to do. The wife showed police video of Caleb spitting at her, coming at her aggressively, and cracking her windshield with a beer bottle. Roberts had fled the scene before officers arrived, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Caleb Roberts, of 1003 Crockett Lane in Greenbrier TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 28th, charged with domestic assault. He is free on a $1,000 bond.
