Local sports radio personality Colin Castleberry was charged with DUI early Sunday morning after Belle Meade Police say he was speeding at 56 mph in a 40 mph zone and performed poorly on field sobriety tests after the traffic stop.
Belle Meade Officer David Wright was observing traffic on Harding Road just before 4 a.m. Sunday when he observed a vehicle traveling 56 in a 40 mph zone. He stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as 26-year-old Colin Castleberry, a local sports radio director and personality. Reports indicate Castleberry smelled strongly of alcohol, his breath reeked of alcohol, and he had slurred speech when speaking to the officer. He agreed to perform field sobriety tests, on which the officer says he performed poorly on.

Colin Castleberry, 26, was booked into the Metro Nashville jail on 05/23/21 at 4:03 a.m., charged with driving under the influence. This was his first Davidson County arrest, and he is free on pre-trial release with a hearing scheduled in June.
