Dawn Klein, 28, and Tara Klein, 31, both remain jailed in lieu of individual $2,500 bonds after police say they assaulted their mother after she continued to scold them about their drug use.

On the evening of June 7th, Tara Klein, who lives in a Bellevue apartment with her mother, is alleged to have swung a broom at her mother, but failed to actually make any impact. The mother, states she had been scolding the pair over their drug use since the previous evening and was tired of it. She called Tara’s ex-boyfriend to come to pick her up, along with their mutual children, as she wanted her out of the house. When arrived, their mother tried to take the smaller of Tara’s children out to the father, and that’s when Tara attempted to attack her with a broom.

Dawn Klein is alleged to have pushed her mother as she was exiting the apartment to go outside, which placed their mother in even more fear of being injured. Police note that Dawn Klein was “very erratic and not making sense”.

Both were booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with domestic assault charges. Each remains jailed in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
