A Nashville woman spent the first half of 2021 living it up in the city… and now she’ll have to face the consequences. 23-year-old Kenoshia Smith reportedly provided fraudulent documents to obtain a PPP loan, drove a 2020 Toyota Camry which she rented for a few days and didn’t return for months, and had a food brawl at Los Toritos, where she smashed a chair through a glass cooler door… and it’s only June.
Kenoshia Smith was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 7th at 3:12 p.m. on multiple outstanding warrants. One of the warrants, charging her with felony vandalism, details that on January 26 she and other females were involved in a large brawl at Los Toritos Nashville, which officers say left the business “in total disarray” with broken glass, chairs, tables were upside down, and with more food on the floor than in their stomachs. Officers later reviewed video footage and identified Smith as one of the women, and as the one that smashed a chair through the glass cooler door. A felony warrant was issued for her arrest, and the investigation continues into the actions of the others.
Intria Ventures confirms they disbursed a PPP loan to Kenoshia Smith in February, and believe the documents to be fraudulent, citing a nail salon business. Their investigation is ongoing.
Throughout 2021, Kenoshia has been driving a 2020 Toyota Camry which has been reported as stolen from a car rental company. She admitted to officers she initially rented the car, but then kept it and refused to return it. She is charged with Felony Theft 10K – 60K for the stolen car.
Soon after being booked into jail Monday, she was released on a $20,000 bond.
