Metro Nashville Police arrived at the parking garage of St. Thomas Midtown, 2000 Church St, on July 7th at 3:30 p.m., after someone reported a female had just attacked a male with pepper spray. Upon arrival, the defendant, identified as 38-year-old Tamar Nance, was located, as well as the victim, Lee Logan.
Court records state the couple had just ended their dating relationship four hours earlier, and the victim says she followed him to this location, parked her vehicle behind his, preventing both people inside the vehicle from leaving. He says Nance then exited her car and began to threaten him with pepper spray, then chased him around the car, eventually discharging the spray onto the victim. The chase continued into the hospital, where security observed the chase go through the hospital’s emergency department waiting area, and the event was archived on security footage.
Even after police arrived, Nance was still screaming at the victim. Her 6-year-old son with also present at the location and witnessed the incident. Upon questioning, she told police “nothing happened”.
Tamara Renee Nance, 38, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail at 5:37 p.m., charged with false imprisonment and domestic assault with bodily injury. She is free on a $4,000 bond.
