Nashville Police say 23-year-old Sydney Warren, of Alabama, spit into the eye of an officer who was attempting to arrest her this weekend during an altercation in Printers Alley in downtown Nashville. Charged with assault of an officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, she is free on pre-trial release.

ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
On 09-19-2021, police attempted to break up a fight that they observed at 211 printers alley. Officer Jobe stated that he observed two parties fighting and several people attempting to keep the parties separate. Officer Jobe stated that he tried to separate the parties and take the suspect into custody.
Officer Jobe stated that the suspect pulled away and resisted arrest. During the course of the arrest, the suspect turned around and spit into officer Jobe’s right eye. The suspect was taken to mobile booking and booked on the above charges. BWC/ICC
