31-year-old Heather Helm is charged with domestic assault after he reportedly got into an argument with this girlfriend in a Goodlettsville Hotel room and pushed her out the door. He claims the pair had just broken up and were both physical at each other, but was determined to be the primary aggressor. He is free on a $1,000 bond.

| On 09/01/21 at approximately 0300 hours police were dispatched to 622 Rivergate Pkwy room #138 in reference to a domestic assault that had occurred. The complainant Amanda Ball advised that she had been assaulted and was in the hotel lobby waiting for contact with police. Upon arrival I made contact with Ball in front of the hotel, and she stated that her ex-boyfriend Heather Helm had physically pushed her out of room #138 where the couple had been staying causing a bruise on her right hand, which was clearly visible to officers. Ball said that the couple had been arguing for a while and had broken up. Helm admitted to pushing Ball out of the room but stated that the couple had been physical with each other on and off all night, but that Ball was the first one to make physical contact. Helm refused to open the door for police when we made contact with him at room # 138 but eventually did comply. It was determined that Helm was the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody at that time. Helm had no indications on his body that he could point out to corroborate his story that Ball had assaulted him. B all’s injuries were consistent with the series of events told to police by her. Helm was transported to Metro Booking and charged with Domestic Assault. |
