34-year-old Jacob Stock is charged with false imprisonment and theft after his separated wife showed up, in an attempt to “work things out”. He is alleged to have broken things inside the house, grabbed a knife with which he stabbed a box, then prevented her from leaving out the back door, and held her down in an attempt to delete the recording she was making of his outburst. He then fled the residence with her phone. He is free on a $2,000 bond.
ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
Officers spoke with the victim who reported that she and the defendant are married, but currently separated. The defendant lives here in Nashville while the victim lives in Franklin. The victim wanted to attempted to work things out with the defendant so she came over to his residence in Nashville to talk. The conversation began getting heated and the defendant began breaking things around the house. The defendant grabbed a knife and stabbed a box. At that time the victim began recording the defendant and attempting to leave the residence. The victim attempted to go out the back door, but the defendant locked the door, preventing her from leaving. The defendant grabbed the victim and held her down and took her phone away, trying to delete the recording she took of him. Once the defendant was able to get the phone he left the location with the victim’s phone. The victim then ran to a neighbors residence and asked them to call 91 I.
