22-year-old Demi Elliott is charged with domestic assault after she reportedly punched her roommate, Garrett Holland, several times, leaving visible injuries and causing him to push her out of his room and to call 911. When he went to inform her that he had called police, she then assaulted him a second time. The second assault was captured on video. She is free on a $1,000 bond.

| The victim stated the defendant came into his room due to her having an argument with the victim’s mother. The victim stated the defendant punched him in the face several times which caused visible injru·ies. The victim stated after being assaulted he pushed the defendant out of his room and called the police. The victim stated he left his room to inform the defendant that he had called the police at which point the defendant again got in his face and slapped him in the back of the head. Police observed visible injuries on the victim’s face consistent with his account of events. The victim also showed officers a video capturing the defendant slapping him in the back of the head. Due to the evidence on the scene, police took the defendant into custody for domestic assault. |
