Man charged with public intoxication after refusing to leave parking lot of complex he didn’t live at — Terrance McAboy

36-year-old Terrance McAboy was found sitting in a vehicle parked at an apartment complex where he didn’t live early Sunday morning. Metro Police came in contact with him during the course of a domestic disturbance investigation at the location, and he refused to leave the property when asked to do so. Upon further observation, he was visibly intoxicated, with slurred speech and trouble balancing. He was taken into custody, charged with public intoxication.

Drunk woman texts ‘POW POW!’ threat, storms front door, falls on sidewalk, lays there until police arrive — Angie Chapman

49-year-old Angie Chapman, who is in the middle of a heated divorce, decided to track her husband down Tuesday night at his brother’s home, just a few streets over. She sent texts on the way over, stating “Do you remember how to shoot? I do!”… and “POW POW!”. Once she arrived, she texted him to “look out your window, a–hole” so she could “zero in”. She stormed the front porch, opened the storm door, and attempted to push her way into the home, but the homeowner pushed her back out the door, causing her to fall down the steps, firmly plopping her body on the sidewalk below, where she remained laying until police arrived. They took her into custody while she screamed “I will come back and get them!”. A loaded Smith & Wesson revolver was located in her front passenger seat, and she was extremely intoxicated. Police only charged her with misdemeanor aggravated trespass, and she posted a $2,500 cash bond after being booked. She recently removed $40,000 from the joint checking account, which has been a contentious point during the divorce proceedings.

Austin Dubois charged in death of Mitchell Copeland — Confession: “I was going fast, way too fast…”

19-year-old Austin Dubois is now charged with reckless endangerment, his actions resulting in the death of 19-year-old Mitchell Copeland in March. DuBois was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday on a warrant that alleges he told investigators “I was flying, I was going fast, way too fast, way too fucking fast” while driving a 2004 Pontiac GTO. He was traveling 60 in a 35 mph zone when he entered a curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle. Dubois is free on a $5,000 bond.

Former MNPD Cop, now Florida Man, charged after smashing adult daughter’s phone, twice — Ryan Sledge

49-year-old Ryan Sledge, a former MNPD Officer who now lives in Florida, found himself in a Nashville Jail Tuesday morning after what was described as a “domestic disturbance” at Jonathan’s Grille which began late Monday night. Witnesses report observing Sledge smash his daughter’s phone on the ground twice after an altercation. Sledge admitted the phone was initially in his daughter’s hand, and he pushed the phone, but would not elaborate more than that. Ryan Sledge was booked and released in just over 2 hours, posting a $1,000 cash bond.
