26-year-old Patrick Conquest was arrested twice within two days this month. On October 9th he began arguing with his roommate, from separate rooms within the same house, over social media, transitioning over several platforms during the argument, with both text and audio messages, including “we can scrap!” He escalated to using racial slurs against his roommate, Vincent Mendoza, then entered his bedroom and struck him with a broom, and knocked down the TV.
Conquest went to jail, and posted a $3500 bond, only to be arrested again 12-hours later when police responded to another disturbance at the home and found Conquest was violating both the conditions of his bond, and an order of protection, which was granted. He then posted $2500 more in bail and was released.

ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT: |
On 10/08/2021 I was having an ongoing verbal argument with the defendant. The defendant and I share a residence. The ongoing argument has transitioned over several different social media accounts over several hours. He sent several messages and audio messages. The defendant made several statements such as we can scrap if I refused to speak to him and he made several racial slurs. I told him to please not talk to me; however, he continued. I blocked his messages. The defendant then entered my room. I was laying on my bed. I told him repeatedly to leave. he refused to leave. As the verbal altercation was escalating the defendant picked up an aluminum broom and struck me with it. The broom left no marks or injuries on me. During the physical altercation, the defendant caused my TV to fall and break when it hit the ground. During the altercation, I was in fear of bodily injury. Officers were dispatched to 601 Lischey Ave for a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim who stated that he had an order of protection against the defendant and that he could not be at the residence. Officers contacted the Order of Protection Office and verified the defendant did have an order of protection taken out against him and that he was to vacate the property. The defendant also had bond conditions placed against him and officers verified through the Bond Office that the defendant had bond conditions in place to not be at the same home as the victim. Officers entered the residence and found the defendant in the residence upstairs in his bedroom. |
