55-year-old Kelly Harris is charged with the felony theft of over $13,000 from McDonald’s. As a salaried manager at the Donelson Pike location, court records allege she took money from the nightly cash deposits, added extra hours to her daughter’s paychecks, and paid hours in the name of a terminated employee to a payroll card which she was in possession of. Harris confessed during an interview.

From 02/03/2021- 08/31/2021, the defendant took $13,087.71 from the victim while she was employed as a manager located at 545 Donelson Pk. The defendant was a salaried employee submitting hours under a former employee’s name and the defendant received the funds on a pay card. The defendant also took cash from the deposit money that she was responsible for submitting and floated the deposits. The defendant submitted extra hours on her daughter’s time accounting which resulted in extra pay. Employees interviewed the defendant and she admitted to taking money.
