Poice say 32-year-old Sade Deshay Harris appeared at J. Alexanders in June, where she found her ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Cheyenne Turner, who was dining with a female at the table. She reportedly asked “so you’re out to eat with a girl?”, grabbed silverware from a nearby table, chased him into the parking lot, and used the knife to stab him in the stomach and head, telling a stranger “I’m finna kill him!”. Sade Harris remains jailed in lieu of a $500,000 bond on the charge of attempted murder, and other related charges. | On 6/22/2021 at 16:22 hours, MNPD officers were dispatched to the J. Alexander’s on White Bridge Pike after callers reported a person with a weapon. When officers arrived, neither the victim (Cheyenne Turner) nor the defendant (Sade Harris) were present. A short time later, the victim walked into General Hospital. I spoke with the victim and he stated the following: He was at J. Alexander’s with a friend this afternoon. At one point the defendant was suddenly standing next to him asking “so, you’re out to eat with a girl?” He told her that they were not together, and she began arguing with him. She grabbed some silverware off of a nearby table, producing two knives. The victim fled to the parking lot, and the defendant followed him outside. Two women who were unknown to the victim attempted to persuade the defendant to leave, to which she replied “I’m finna kill him.” While holding two knives, the defendant started swinging at the victim. The defendant stabbed the victim in his stomach and his head. I observed a freshly stapled wound near the top of the victim’s head, and a bandage on his stomach where he indicated he had been stabbed. He also sustained what appeared to be defensive wounds to his hand and forearm. The witness stated that she was exiting the nearby UPS store when she heard screaming. She observed multiple black women and a thin black man with braids having some kind of argument. At one point one of the women started chasing the man, then she hit him in the head with an unknown object. Shortly after that, the man was bleeding profusely from his head. |
