Metro Nashville Police say 22-year-old tourist Greta Runge ignored their commands after they found her extremely intoxicated and punching a brick wall near Whiskey Row on Broadway in downtown Nashville. She was charged with public intoxication.

ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
Officers were patrolling the area of 400 Broadway when they observed the subject acting belligerent and being an annoyance to the public. Officers observed the subject punch a brick wall and approached her to investigate. When officers approached the subject they could smell the obvious odor of drinking alcohol emanating from her breath/person. The subject was uneasy on her feet, slurring her words, and had red/bloodshot eyes. The subject continued to act belligerent and ignore officers’ commands. Officers took the subject into custody in lieu of citation due to the subject being a danger to herself and others.
