21-year-old Joshua Riley is charged with the domestic assault of his lover, Sarah Bradford, after police say he used her own cellphone to hit her in the eye during an argument. Riley fled the scene but was found less than a mile away. The victim suffered injuries from the assault, and Riley is free on a $1,500 bond.

| Officers were dispatched to 1310 Quail Ct E in response to a domestic disturbance called in by a third party who stated the defendant, Joshua Riley busted the victim, Sarah Bradford’s, eye while in an argument; the defendant and the victim are in an intimate relationship. The victim stated she and the defendant got into an argument which is when the defendant threw the victim’s phone at the victim causing it to hit her in the eye resulting in a visible injury. The defendant was located sitting at a picnic table at the Timberlake condos less than a mile from the victim’s residence. The defendant admitted to throwing the phone at the victim during an argument. The defendant was escorted back to the dispatched location where he was positively identified by the victim. |
