48-year-old Jonas Bare is free on a $2,500 bond after a State Trooper pulled him over early Sunday morning on Ellington Parkway after observing him driving erratically and crossing the center line multiple times in a white SUV. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Bare is charged with DUI.

| On 11/28/2021 at approximately 0125 hrs. I (Trp. Justin Johnson) was on patrol in Davidson County. On Ellington Parkway I observed a white SUV cross over the center hash lines several times. I conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle and made contact with the driver who was identified as Jonas S. Bare. His eyes were very glossy and I detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Bare performed poorly on SFSTs. For HGN I observed 4 out of 6 clues. For the walk and turn, I observed 5 out of 8 clues. For the one-leg stand, I observed 3 out of 4 clues. |
