18-year-old Devin Adams is charged with felony possession of a weapon on school grounds after police found him parked in the rear parking lot of Tom Joy Elementary School just before midnight Monday. He told officers he always carried the .22 Hammerli rifle, which was fully loaded with a round in the chamber, with him everywhere for ‘protection’. He is free on pre-trial release.
