48-year-old Donna Williams suffered multiple injuries after her twin brother had to defend himself against her when she attacked him with a taser, a pocket knife, and eventually stabbed him with a large silver salad mixing fork. She was visiting the brother when court records show they “indulged in the consumption of alcoholic beverages” which lead to an argument about past family issues. She is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

| On 11/06/2021 around 0052 hours officers were dispatched to 304 Yelton Court Nashville Tennessee for a call for service. Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with the victim, who stated that he had been stabbed by the defendant. The victim stated to officers that the defendant was his twin sister. The victim stated to officers that the defendant was at his residence visiting, and they were inside his apartment indulging in the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The victim stated, they were having a conversation in regards to past and present family issues and complaints. The victim stated, the discussion began to rise to a level of which things started to become verbally aggressive and combative. The victim stated, the defendant began to raise her voice in a hostile manner and began to “get into his face”. The victim stated that he was encouraging the defendant to calm down, which only escalated the situation. The victim stated that the defendant began to become physically combative, with her striking him multiple times. The victim then stated, the suspect left the living room of the apartment and proceeded upstairs and retrieved a taser, to then come downstairs and threaten the victim with the taser. The victim stated that he became fearful for his safety due to the active threat of the taser being used against him. The victim stated, he did have to defend himself, putting hands on the defendant to disarm her of the weapon, which led to physical contact between the two resulting in minor injuries to both parties. The victim stated, the defendant, proceeded to the kitchen where the defendant obtained a large silver metallic salad mixing fork, and a pocketknife. The victim stated the defendant began threatening him with the cutting instruments, and he was fearful for his life. The victim stated he went hands-on in an attempt to disarm the defendant, having to take her down to the ground, and deliver multiple strikes with his hands in self-defense. The victim stated he was able to disarm the defendant but not before the defendant was able to stab him in his left shoulder two times with the large silver metallic salad mixing fork. The victim stated, he was then able to get the defendant out of his apartment and awaited the arrival of police officers. When officers initially arrived on the scene the defendant was located outside the door of the victim’s apartment, and out of excited utterance, stated that she had stabbed the victim. |
