20-year-old Kenneth Douglas is charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Destiny Tanner. Tanner says the two were arguing and Douglas was intoxicated and becoming more and more irate. She agreed to give him a ride to his sister’s home in South Nashville, and while they were en route, he reportedly threatened to hit her in the head with the bottle of liquor which he brought with him. She says she was placed in fear of bodily injury, and police responded to the scene. Douglas was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with domestic assault – fear of bodily injury, and is free on a $3,500 bond.

ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
On 12/ l 6/2021 Police were dispatched to 708 Margaret Robertson Dr in regard to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival to the scene, police made contact with Victim I, Destiny Tanner. Victim I stated that she and her boyfriend, the defendant, were arguing inside of the residence. The victim stated that the defendant was intoxicated and irate. The victim agreed to give the defendant a ride to his sister’s residence in south Nashville. The victim stated that while she was driving the defendant to the location, he had a liquor bottle in his hand. The defendant threatened to hit the victim in the head with the liquor bottle. The victim stated that the defendant’s statement put her in fear of imminent bodily injury.
