25-year-old Kaitlynn Price was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday morning on an outstanding warrant charging her with the domestic assault of her ex-girlfriend, Alexandria Smith. Court records show the two were living together in October when Kaitlynn grabbed her by the shirt, placed her in a headlock, and repeatedly punched her in the face. Price is free on a $1,000 bond.

| The victim and the defendant used to be in a dating relationship and lived together. Officers responded to the victim’s address on 10/8/2021 in relation to a domestic disturbance. The victim stated that while she and the defendant were having an argument, the defendant grabbed her by the shirt, put her in a headlock, and struck her in the face multiple times. The victim stated that she did not have difficulty breathing while the defendant held her in a headlock. The victim had visible injury as a result of the assault (scratches on her face), which was documented with a photo and in body camera footage. Ms. Schultz witnessed the assault. |
