Man breaks into girlfriend’s parent’s house after being kicked out — Nicholas Chowning

Police say 30-year-old Nicholas Chowning was kicked out of his girlfriend’s parent’s home for being drunk and aggressive. Her parent removed him and told him to call an Uber to get home. Moments later, Chowning shattered the front window of the home and sat on the living room floor, where police found him late Thursday, bloody and defiant.

Chowning was taken into custody, charged with felony aggravated burglary. His bond is set at $10,000.

Converse employee charged with stealing customer’s debit card — Marem Youssef

Police say 19-year-old Marem Youssef pocketed the debit card of a customer after checking her out at the Converse store at Opry Mills. When the customer reported the suspected theft, officers reviewed the camera footage and observed Youssef take the card. She apologized and returned the card while the footage was being reviewed.

She is charged with theft and issued a citation, for which she self-booked this week.

Nashville man charged with stalking using Apple AirTag in victim’s car — Taras Johnson

45-year-old Taras Johnson is charged with stalking his ex-girlfriend, Lashonda Campbell on several occasions, one of which reportedly involved him tracking her via an Apple AirTag in her vehicle. The pair have a long history of back-and-forth disputes using the court system, many of which are eventually dropped due to the other becoming unwilling to testify.
