#FOOD: Antioch IHOP scores 75; tree branch is found stored on prep table

The IHOP on Target Drive in Antioch scored a 75 on a health inspection Monday afternoon. 15 pounds of food were embargoed from the restaurant after the open cooler at the prep table was not maintaining food at a safe temperature as it was ‘cooling’ at over 55 degrees. The inspector noted excessive fly activity in the kitchen and found a tree branch was inexplicably stored on the prep table. Other causes of concern included the food in the walk-in freezer was thawing instead of freezing, employees handling dirty dishes then clean plates with no handwashing, and excessive build-up and dirt throughout cook line, walls, and ceilings.

Hunter Bilyeu charged with disorderly conduct despite being given the chance to walk away

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville Saturday responded to 6th & Broadway, where they observed 20-year-old Hunter Bilyeu yelling and fighting another individual. Officers separated the parties, and the victim did not want to press assault charges. Officers told Bilyeu to go on about his night and leave the area, but he refused and continued to be aggressive and once again started to fight the other individual in front of police. He was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Raymond Flores charged after aggressive behavior in downtown Nashville

41-year-old Raymond Flores was the subject of a disorderly person call outside of Luke Bryan’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Saturday morning. He was reportedly becoming aggressive and threatening toward an unknown female at the location. Officers arrived to find him yelling and screaming at the woman and grabbing the back of her head while yelling at her. As officers attempted to place him into custody, he became aggressive with officers, who had to use force and “joint manipulation techniques” to get him cuffed. He told officers he was “very” drunk, and when asked to elaborate on the amount he had to drink, he stated “a lot!” He was placed into custody and transported to booking.

Drunken tourist Piotr Walaszek makes it onto the roof of downtown Nashville bar

Metro Nashville police responded to Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa just before 2 a.m. Saturday for a report of a disorderly person. Officers found that 25-year-old Piotr Walaszek had made his way onto the roof of the venue. Staff escorted police to the roof access area, and officers located the man extremely intoxicated and stumbling around. After repeated refusals to leave the property, Walaszek was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass.

Jacob Brewster catches DUI after he “got in his feelings” and slept in his running car

19-year-old Jacob Brewster says he was inside a residence at the Hillmeade Apartments late Friday night with some friends after bringing them home and drinking some tequila with them. He says he “got in his feelings” about a situation and decided to leave. He was too intoxicated to drive home and decided to sleep in his vehicle in the parking lot. Before sleeping, he continued to drink from a bottle of vodka in the car.

A short time later, around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Metro Nashville Police responded to an unrelated shots-fired call at the complex and came across Brewster in the parking lot, who was now slumped over the driver’s seat with the car running and the door wide open. Brewster was unresponsive for several minutes with vomit both inside and outside the car and all over himself. Officers were able to turn off the car, and Brewster eventually woke up and tried to put the car in gear and leave. He eventually blew a 0.123% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Mike Terry Jr. walked the line at Johnny Cash’s bar and landed in the Nashville Jail

Metro Nashville Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative late Friday night found 27-year-old Michael Terry being disorderly at Johnny Cash’s Bar in downtown Nashville. Staff told police he was attempting to start fights with other patrons and was heavily intoxicated. Officed transported him to booking and charged him with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Wisconsin Duo jailed: Dave Beson & Jessica Langfeldt unable to handle Nashville’s alcohol

Something about the alcohol in Nashville just hits different; just ask 36-year-old David Beson and his girlfriend, 36-year-old Jessica Langfeldt, who were jailed on their current recent to Music City. Dave was being aggressive with security at Nudie’s Honky Tonk early Saturday morning when police arrived to find him extremely intoxicated and took him into custody before things escalated further. As he was being cuffed, Jessica wrapped her arms around him and refused to move so he could be cuffed. She then grabbed his arms and attempted to pull him away and free him from the officers effecting the arrest. She, too, was determined to be extremely intoxicated and was placed into custody.

Sawyer Swindle deemed too drunk for Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa in downtown Nashville

Staff at Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa say 21-year-old Sawyer Swindle was trespassing at their location and was extremely intoxicated. He had been asked to leave multiple times and refused to do so, and Metro Nashville police were called to the scene. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass.

Scott Valentine bounced from Whiskey Row, lands in jail after fighting to get back in

Just before 3 a.m. Saturday, Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville responded to Whiskey Row on Broadway to find 22-year-old Scott Valentine being disorderly. Management of the bar reported they had asked him to leave the business, and he refused, then security physically removed him after the began to fight with them, and he continued to attempt to re-enter the bar. Officer took him into custody and transported him to booking.

Josh Booth faces multiple charges after Printers Alley tussle

31-year-old Joshua Booth was found yelling and screaming in Printers Alley Sunday, and after officers arrived to investigate, they observed him begin to fight another person. As officers began to detain Booth, he pulled away and attempted not to be cuffed. He was extremely intoxicated and was eventually placed under arrest and transported to booking.
