TABC agents recently cited 39-year-old Adam Bednarik for selling alcohol to a minor. They were conducting a compliance check at The Wine Chap in Belle Meade, and he sold a bottle of Ballatore Gran Spumante to an underage informant (Daphne) who presented an ID with a birthdate of 08/18/2003. The sale happened in late July, and he self-booked on the citation this Monday.

Adam Bednarik self-booked on the citation on August 29th, which charged him with alcohol sales to minor. When he came to booking, he provided a certificate of community service and of a completed alcohol sales safety class, and the District Attorney’s Office did not prosecute the case, and nolled it the same day.

I know Adam and he technically had this expunged from his record. At no point did you use the legally correct qualifier of “alleged” either. The Wine Chap is a small business and this was a simple mistake that happens all the fuck over the state, posting this is incredibly harmful to someone who is ostensibly a harmless individual. I’ve got nothing against posting perpetrators of actually harmful crime but shame on y’all for this bullshit. This is absolutely no reason to be broadcast to the public.

This charge was dismissed and this should be taken down. It is completely irrelevant.
