21-year-old Jesus Morales Mejia told police he drank “a fuck ton” of beers before crashing his vehicle onto its roof on Glenrose Ave Monday afternoon. He initially limped away from the scene, according to witnesses, and police encountered him a short distance away to check on his welfare. He stated he wasn’t sure why he crashed but told officers he drank “a fuck ton” of beers before driving. When asked to clarify that, he further stated, “20 Modelo beers.” He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.
Jesus Morales Mejia of Piccadilly Row in Antioch, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on October 24th, charged with driving under the influence, no driver’s license, leaving the scene of an accident over $1,500, and open container. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,500.
