Musician Zac Young to police: “Sorry guys, I’m really drunk,” after a night to remember (or forget)

In a story that probably won’t be told to grandchildren, 34-year-old Nashville Musician and author Zac Young randomly got into an Uber with strangers he had been drinking with as they were leaving a Nashville bar in the early hours of Sunday morning. The group of friends reported he then came home with them, uninvited, exiting the Uber as they did. The group then let their new friend hang out with them and even provided him with food. At some point, Young reportedly became belligerent and asked them to touch his “private areas,” according to a police report.

One of the victims states they became “extremely uncomfortable” and ordered Young out of the home. Young reportedly became irate while yelling and “flipping them off.” Once he was outside the door, they locked Young out of the home, resulting in him destroying items on the front porch, including a chicken-shaped planter. Young continued to bang on the door and then their neighbor’s door. Police didn’t arrive until nearly three hours later, at which time Young was still on the front porch yelling, cursing, and banging on doors. Zac Young approached officers as they arrived, stating, “Sorry guys, I’m really drunk.”
