Metro Nashville Police have identified 29-year-old John Christian Swoboda as the man who jumped from the 36th floor of the Four Seasons Residences building in downtown Nashville on the morning of December 8th in an apparent suicide. Swoboda was from Mt. Juliet, where here was reported missing to local police on December 7th. He reportedly left his phone, identification, and cash at his residence. Police say Swoboda took an elevator to the 36th floor, where witnesses who were working in a vacant room noticed him walk through the room and straight out onto the balcony, where he reportedly jumped to his death. The witnesses initially assumed he was another construction worker when he walked onto the floor.
