34-year-old Chase Thomas was jailed on April 2nd after forcefully taking his wife’s car keys from her and threatening to kill her. Police responded to Lakeside Drive, where Catherine Thomas was picking up some of her belongings. Chase and Catherine are going through a divorce, and Catherine has moved out. When she was heading back to her car to leave, Chase opened her door and grabbed her keys out of the ignition with his left hand. With his right hand, he shoved her and scratched her chest. Chase took Catherine’s keys and her cell phone into the house. Catherine pleaded with him to get her things back, or she would call the police. Chase balled his fist and said, “If you fucking do that, I will kill you or have you killed,” before walking away. Catherine took her belongings and left.
Chase Taylor Thomas of Saint Charles Ct in Hermitage, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 4th, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
