24-year-old Alix Noizin was booked this week after he attempted to open the driver’s side door of a police patrol car in downtown Nashville. When he realized the door was locked, he started banging on the window. The officer got out and told him to stop. Noizin ran toward Acme Feed and Seed on Broadway and fell. Acme security detained him, and the officer took him into custody. When another officer arrived on scene, Noizon fell to his knees due to his drunken state. He had slurred speech and smelled strongly of alcohol.

24-year-old Xavier Nicholson was booked this week on a citation after police saw him selling alcohol to passers-by on the streets of downtown Nashville. Officers witnessed Nicholson receive money for the alcoholic drinks and missed him a state citation. During the search of his person, police located a weed grinder with residue inside, a plastic weed container, and three packages of RAW rolling papers.

Wilmer Melgar admits to assaulting girlfriend after finding out she was cheating on him

29-year-old Wilmer Melgar was jailed on May 22, charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Joseline Reyes. Melgar admitted that he picked up a blunt object and threw it at the victim during an argument, leaving her with injuries to the neck. Meglar says the argument occurred after he found out she was cheating and talking to her ex-boyfriend.

Alyssa Herbst charged with assault of her brother during Nashville trip

21-year-old California tourist Alyssa Herbst is charged with the assault of her brother while on a trip to Nashville this week. Alyssa, her husband Bryce Herbst, and her brother John King, were all walking back to their hotel from Titans Way just before 2 a.m. on May 24. The brother told police he got into an argument with his sister on the pedestrian bridge, and she punched him in the stomach and scratched him. Officers documented visible injuries to his chest and neck, along with a ripped shirt. Bryce confirmed the victim’s account of events, while Alyssa said she did not punch or scratch him. She was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Julius Lorinc assaults his wife after she finds a flash drive in his laundry

44-year-old Julius Lorinc was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with the domestic assault of his wife, Vanderbilt Doctor & owner of Harpeth Meadows Stables, Amanda Lorinc. Amanda told police she was doing laundry on April 23 when she found a flash drive among her husband’s belongings while folding clothes. She waited for her husband to arrive home and confronted him about the flash drive, and asked him what was on it. He became agitated and pushed and shoved her while attempting to retrieve the flash drive from her grasp. He eventually grabbed her right hand and ripped the flash drive away, leaving a small injury on her hand, which was documented by police. During the incident, she says he also pushed her onto the bed while holding her neck. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked into custody this week.

Samaneh Moradi follows husband around home, assaulting him; he has her jailed

33-year-old Samaneh Moradi is charged with the assault of her husband, Hassan Tehrani, as police documented injuries on his arms, wrists, shoulder, hands, and back on May 25. Police responded to their Nolensville Pike home, where the victim stated his wife was in an argument and became upset when he started to record her with his phone. She is captured on the video following him around the home and assaulting him multiple times with slaps, punches, and fingernail scratches. Her husband stated he wanted to prosecute for the assault, and she was taken into custody.

Tanner Hollingsworth charged with drag racing after crash with injuries

21-year-old Tanner Hollingsworth was driving his white 2012 GMC Yukon alongside a Dodge Challenger while drag racing on April 15. Police say he admitted to being a part of “the group” that was also blocking intersections so that cars could spin inside the ‘pit.’ While he was racing the Challenger through an intersection near Fesslers Lane, he was unable to avoid an oncoming vehicle, and crashed into the vehicle, leaving the driver with injuries. Security video from nearby businesses showed him weaving in and out of traffic and racing before the crash. Hollingsworth was charged with drag racing via a state citation and was booked on the charge this week.
