41-year-old failed Nashville Rapper Michael Curtis was jailed Monday evening, charged with stalking Nashville celebrity Jelly Roll. Curtis was in line to enter the Rock N Jock Celebrity Softball game at the Nashville Sounds Stadium at First Horizon Park when security observed him to be disorderly, approaching officers and asking officers if he had seen them at strip club Deja Vu earlier that morning. He was eventually asked to leave, but as Jelly Roll arrived, Curtis ran up to him and began to act in such an alarming manner that Jelly Roll, whose name is Jason DeFord, had to be rushed to safety inside the stadium.

Officers report Jelly Roll was in a “clear state of emotional distress.” It was soon learned this was an ongoing stalking issue with Curtis, who, the day before, had followed and stalked a bus he believed the celebrity to be on. On the day prior to that incident, Curtis had located Jelly Roll’s personal vehicle at the Ryman Auditorium and took photos of himself next to it. Curtis posted bond early Tuesday and then posted several videos to social media, continuing to make specific threats to Jelly Roll, his family, and the officers who arrested him.
