21-year-old Mikah Fuqua was speeding in her white 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class on I-40 West on March 20th. Officers observed this and used their lidar, which recorded Fuqua going 93 mph in a 65 mph zone during rush hour.
Once officers conducted a traffic stop, they found that Fuqua’s license was suspended and that she didn’t have any proof of insurance. Officers cited her for the violation that day. Fuqua was later booked on the citation of reckless driving, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance.
Mikah B. Fuqua of Cheasapeake Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 3rd, charged with driving on suspended license, reckless driving, and no evidence of insurance. She was released on her own recognizance.
