63-year-old Charles Trueblood was caught assaulting a waitress at the Hooters on Wade Circle on August 2nd. While Trueblood was at the Hooters, he needed to be cut off from alcohol. Shortly after this, Trueblood got into an altercation with another person, so they were both asked to leave. While Trueblood was on his way out, he ended up slapping a waitress, Michelle Brown, on her butt. Officers then spoke to Trueblood, who admitted he was at the Hooters. However, Trueblood stated that he was too drunk to remember if he had slapped anyone on their butt. Brown was later identified in a lineup and cited for the violation on August 8th. Following this, Brown was later booked on the citation of simple assault on September 3rd.

DUI: Jeston Greenwood found passed out in car on Welch Road after apparent overdose
39-year-old Jeston Greenwood was slumped over in his vehicle, parked with the engine running on Welch Road late July 23rd. A concerned citizen flagged officers down, stating that a man, later identified as Greenwood, was dying. When the police located Greenwood, he was unconscious and remained unresponsive after several attempts to wake him up. Medics responded to the scene and administered Narcan to Greenwood.
The Narcan helped Greenwood become more coherent after a few minutes. Then, officers searched Greenwood’s vehicle and found a piece of aluminum foil with a burn mark. After being Mirandized, Greenwood refused to speak with police. After being informed of implied consent, Greenwood agreed to provide a blood sample. Greenwood was admitted to the hospital and was issued a citation that day. He was later booked on the citation of driving under the influence on September 3rd.
Kobe James bangs on woman’s door late at night, leaves note with his phone number
23-year-old Kobe James went uninvited to Tekeisha Beckley’s Hickory Hollow Parkway apartment on August 7th. Beckley told responding officers that James knocked and banged on her door loudly, which scared her. She added that James had taken off running after she opened the door. Then, a short time later, James returned and knocked on her door again.
However, when she answered, she noticed he had left a note on her vehicle. The note stated that he thought she was beautiful and wanted to talk to her. The note also had James’ phone number on it. Beckley said this was the second time James had left a note on her vehicle in the last few months. James was cited for the occurrence that day. James was later booked on the citation of harassment on September 3rd.
Leslie Niedo booked after stealing 2 beer cans from 7/11
41-year-old Leslie Keith Niedo shoplifted at the 7/11 Gas Station on Nolensville Pike around midnight on August 8th. Police self-initiated a call for service at the location. Officers observed Niedo grabbing two beer cans and concealing them in his backpack without paying for them. Then, he was stopped by the cash register. Niedo was cited for the incident that day. Niedo was later booked on the citation of theft on September 3rd.
DUI: Ryan Barnes crashes car after having 5 beers at friend’s house
24-year-old Ryan Thomas Barnes had a single-vehicle accident at Williams Medical Supply in the early hours of September 6th. When officers arrived, they observed Barnes stumbling and showing signs of impairment. Barnes admitted to having five beers at a friend’s house. Then, the police prompted Barnes with sobriety tests, and he performed poorly. After this, Barnes agreed to provide a blood sample and was detained for the occurrence. Barnes was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Joseph Mannion assaults multiple people across different incidents in single day
47-year-old Joseph Mannion was seen on September 4th, causing a disturbance inside the Oscar’s Taco Shop on Centennial Boulevard. It was reported that while Mannion was there, he aggressively approached and shoved a man named Joshua Clegg. Following the altercation with Clegg, Mannion reportedly grabbed a bottle of hot sauce and hurled it across the store, where it struck Daniel Menjivar behind the cashier’s counter.
On the same day, Mannion made contact with Marshia Bender at the White Bison Coffee Shop. While on the patio, Bender explained that when Mannion approached her, she ignored him. She stated that this led to Mannion becoming visibly upset to the point that he started yelling and cursing at her. After this, Mannion picked up a chair and acted like he would hit her with it. A witness of the altercation, Davis Bennet, told officers he was nearby while the incident occurred, so he approached Mannion. Once Mannion made contact with Bennet, he put the chair down and punched him in the arm.
While responding to the incident at the White Bison Coffee Shop, officers observed Mannion walking next to Laverte’s Liquor Store on 51st Avenue North. When officers approached Mannion and told him to stop, he instead chose to run away, initiating a pursuit. During the chase, Mannion spun around to face pursuing officers with his fist clenched. Officers reported that they had to use force to put Mannion into handcuffs. Despite this, Mannion refused to stand up and get inside the patrol car. Mannion was then forced inside and transported to booking, where he was charged with four counts of assault and one count of evading arrest, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct on September 5th.
Desaray Boyd jailed after stealing peanut butter at Walmart
30-year-old Desaray Boyd was caught shoplifting at the Walmart on Nolensville Pike on September 4th. The loss prevention officer associated with Walmart told officers that they stopped Boyd and detained her in their office. They added they did this after observing Boyd conceal merchandise in her purse. Following this, officers discovered that Boyd had already been trespassed from another Walmart. Additionally, officers were provided with a surveillance video capturing Boyd tucking peanut butter into her purse. Boyd was then taken into custody and charged with burglary and theft.
Nicholas Kellum caught smoking blunt while trespassing at Waterford Crossing Apartments
20-year-old Nicholas Kellum was caught trespassing by the property manager of the Waterford Crossing Apartments, Brittany Owens, on September 4th. Owens disclosed that officers had already visited the premises on September 3rd regarding matters related to Kellum. Owens stated on that day, officers had made contact with Kellum. Owens informed him that he was no longer allowed on the property. Following this, staff escorted officers to the back of the leasing office. Officers made contact with Kellum, who was observed sitting on a bench and actively rolling a marijuana blunt. He was then taken into custody for the incident. During an arrest search, officers found 4.5 grams of marijuana on his person. When asked about the amount of weed Kellum had on him, he stated that he had about two grams. Kellum was then transported to booking and charged with possession/casual exchange and criminal trespassing on September 4th.
Roger Duckworth caught with 108 grams of marijuana during traffic stop at Nashville International Airport
38-year-old Roger Duckworth was stopped at the Nashville International Airport on September 4th when officers noticed how dark his tint was. Once they conducted a traffic stop, they reported that they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A probable cause search led to officers finding 108 grams of marijuana inside a bag belonging to Duckworth. Duckworth was then taken into custody and charged with possession of a Schedule Six drug.
Lindi Sophabmixay assaults boyfriend after going through his phone & breaking up with him
19-year-old Lindi Sophabmixay had a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Shawn England, on September 3rd. Responding officers spoke with England, who stated that he and Sophabmixay had broken up earlier in the day. He stated this was because she had gone through his phone and found things that upset her. England said that Sophabmixay got angry and pushed him. Then, the police spoke with a witness, who stated that she woke up to Sophabmixay screaming and crying. The witness added that she saw England push her to prevent her from hitting him after she kept charging at him. When officers spoke with Sophabmixay, she denied anything physical had occurred but kept telling them that she wanted to leave. Sophabmixay was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
